Lee Friedlander
He was influenced by Walker Evans and took all of his pictures in black and white. He started off taking many pictures of Jazz musicians for record covers. His photographs focused mainly on the modern social landscape of America. His most famous photographs are ones he took in black and white of Madonna for Playboy. He detaches everyday items from their scene in stores or anywhere and makes them stick out.




Walker Evans
Walker Evans took many pictures during the great depression. Most of his pictures are in black and white or a sort of sepia colour. They are all vertical and usually of building's in the 1930's. He was "documenting workers and architecture in the Southeastern states". He took some colour pictures in the late 1960's into the 70's.
